workshop and photo series, France 2025
Invitation: monopôle, Maison de l'Écologie
Thank You: Charles-Arthur Feuvrier, Romain Guillo, Haize Merah, Alexandre Bagdassarian, Maurice Schlichtenmayer
In the Hungry Salty Energy Workshop, we made and ate miniatures of the hydrogen storage demonstrator HyPSTER. HyPSTER is an international testing site for storing hydrogen in an underground salt cavern located in Etrez (France). Based on photos of the above-ground entrance to the cavern, we formed fragments of hydrogen technology out of salty cracker dough. Crafting crackers gave room to exchange local knowledge and rumors on the growing hydrogen industry around the city. The workshop was concluded by eating the resulting crackers.
